School's out, work's in

God's blessings came in so smoothly! I was looking for a job after graduating from Barker, and was just having a chat with my neighbor.

I mentioned that I was job-hunting and he introduced me to work part-time at friven and co. Best part of all, he's the managing director of that place!

Me and Andrew went down the next day for interview and got the job instantly.

We worked hard and found favor with our boss: Friday, Saturday, then promotion to cashier which pays $7/hour, from the usual $6.50/hour. How great is our God!:)

Also, I managed to land my few schoolmates, primary and secondary school mates, jobs too!

Not close to all, but I guess God's wanting to bring us closes together.

Oh yeah, the lady above in the picture beside me? That's Zoey Tay, one of Singapore's talented artist who came to Friven.

So it was one day I decided to do a write up of recess revo:
worship at ACS Barker, and then my iPhone had to hang and then I lost all the stuff I had wrote. GAH >.<

I guess I'll let the pictures do the talking on the next few posts then.

So yeah, this blog hasn't seen much updates cause i WAS in the midst of o-level prepping and now AM in the midst of doing it!

Give.it.your.all

"to give is better than receiving"

Whenever i see this I used to think that, "wow.. Giving is better than receiving? Yeah right, I bet that ain't true."

Until I realized it doesn't necessarily mean money or materialism alone.

It comes through different forms such as giving TIME or LOVE to those around you.

Only when you've given willingly, you'll get an awesome feeling in your heart: warming and brightening the cold night in someone elses heart.

A better feeling than getting all the materialistic stuff in the world!

That's something that money cannot buy. Wanna bet?:)

Stress pressed

Awesome control on butter-slippery surface, no?

O-Levels are a few weeks ahead and I started prepping few weeks before. Study study study. Study in the morning, study in the afternoon, study at night, tired and need sleep.

Sometimes you just gotta run and slide along and relieve those stress bugs. But of course, not too much:
